On Monday, CISS came together for a summer BBQ to celebrate 36 years of supporting people, building relationships, and being part of the community.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for members of the CISS community to gather, enjoy food, connect with one another, and reflect on the organization’s long history of service. For 36 years, CISS has been proud to support individuals to participate fully in their communities, build meaningful relationships, and pursue lives that reflect their goals, choices, and strengths.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped organize, set up, cook, clean, and make the day such a success. Events like this are a reminder that CISS is more than an organization, it is a community of dedicated staff, supported individuals, families, volunteers, partners, and friends who all contribute to the work we do.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also look forward to the future and to continuing our work alongside the people and communities we serve.
