Leadership

Scott Bewely
Executive Director

Scott brings over eighteen years of financial management experience to his role as Executive Director at CISS. This includes twelve years in senior leadership roles that have seamlessly integrated finance with operations, human resources, labour relations, and IT. A proven leader in the sector, he most recently served as Senior Manager of Finance & Administration at IATSE Local 891, where he acted as the organization’s Chief Operating/Managing Director. His leadership journey also includes key roles at Community Ventures Society and Kinsight, where he supported multi-disciplinary teams and contributed to provincial advocacy through the CEO Network. Proudly rooted in the Tri-Cities, Scott is strongly committed to inclusion and brings to his role a unique blend of sector expertise and passion for community-driven missions.

Zandre Bebek
Director of Operations

Zandre Bebek has over seventeen years of experience in the social services sector and over twelve years of executive leadership across non-profit organizations, government systems, education, and unionized environments throughout both British Columbia and Alberta. In addition to having an educational background in psychology, criminology, and business, Zandre also has frontline and leadership experience across a variety of human services. Some include child and family services, disability services, mental health and addiction, behavioural consulting, legal, counselling services, and community programming. Zandre’s leadership is rooted in dignity, collaboration, and inclusion. Through strategic planning, strong community connections, and person-centered programs, Zandre is committed to developing and increasing meaningful, inclusive support.

Program Managers

Nathan Charlton
Program Manager

Nathan has over ten years of experience across the social services, education, and community living sectors. With a background in both frontline support, consulting and leadership positions, he brings a collaborative and values-driven approach to promoting inclusion and creating opportunities within the community.

István Nagy
Program Manager

István has been in community social services since 2015 and has worked with CISS in several different capacities over the years. With an educational background in psychology and over twenty-one years of nursing experience in Romania and the United Kingdom, István brings both experience and passion for creating inclusive environments where people can thrive.

Krystina Kaban
Program Manager

Krystina brings over fifteen years of experience in the social services sector, with the past decade spent in various leadership roles at CISS. Her educational background in psychology and human development has led her approach to be grounded in collaboration and meaningful connection with the people and teams she works alongside.

Ana Wear
Program Manager

With a strong focus on person-centered care and community engagement, Ana has over twenty years of experience in the social services sector. She has a strong passion for advocacy and is committed to providing meaningful programs that foster independence and strengthen community connections.

Administration

Ester Dela Cruz
Finance

Ester joined CISS in June 2008 and brings extensive skills and experience in accounting. She is responsible for finance, payroll, pensions, and benefits. Ester is committed to the ongoing growth of CISS and continues to manage all areas of finance with precision and commitment.

Ada Lo
Human Resources

Ada is the Human Resource Administrator at CISS. With a background in Human Resources, she is eager to bring her diverse skillsets and experiences to the team, while staying open and engaged with new HR practices. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring BC trails with her dog.

Lori Moscone
Office Clerk

Lori first began at CISS as a volunteer and was then later appointed into an Office Clerk position in 2011. She is dedicated to her work and is proud to be a part of the CISS team. Lori enjoys spending time with her cat, Coco, and going for walks with her Mom in her free time.
